About Us
At the heart of Thornham’s community, Thornham Village Hall and Playing Field is a vibrant space for people to come together — for everyday activities, local events and special occasions. Located along the A149 on the spectacular North-West Norfolk coast, the Hall is just 10 minutes from Hunstanton and within easy reach of King’s Lynn and Fakenham, welcoming both residents and visitors.
Since its opening in 2013 and official inauguration by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in 2014, the Hall has grown into a lively focal point for village life, hosting a wide range of activities and events including cinema and National Theatre Live screenings, art exhibitions, fitness classes, Winter Warmer evenings, Music on the Field, summer fetes and the much-loved Sausage Sizzle.
Alongside our programme of events, the Hall is used by local groups and is available for private and community gatherings, from meetings, away days and courses, to celebrations and memorials. Whether you are popping in for an activity, attending an event or bringing people together for a special occasion, Thornham Village Hall and Playing Field brings together community life in all its forms.
