Last week, a group of trustees and volunteers at Thornham Village Hall took part in fire safety training, helping to ensure the Hall continues to be a safe and welcoming space for everyone who uses it.
The session combined practical, hands-on learning with clear guidance on fire safety procedures, giving participants the confidence to respond calmly and effectively should the need ever arise. It also included an exam at the end — taken very seriously, but approached in good spirits!
This training is part of our ongoing commitment to keeping the Hall well run, safe and compliant, and it reflects the care and responsibility shown by those who volunteer their time behind the scenes. We’re extremely grateful to everyone who took part and gave up their time to strengthen our collective knowledge and preparedness.
If you’d like to be involved in supporting Thornham Village Hall — whether helping at events or working behind the scenes — we’d love to hear from you.
