Make a weekend of it!
Some celebrations deserve more than a few hours.
For weddings, big birthdays, anniversaries and other special occasions, you can have exclusive use of Thornham Village Hall from Friday evening until Sunday lunchtime.
That gives you time to set everything up, enjoy the celebration without watching the clock, and come back the following morning rather than facing a frantic midnight clear-up.
And with the playing field and North Norfolk coast on the doorstep, it works particularly well when friends and family are travelling to make a weekend of it.
Friday: make it yours
Arrive from 6pm and start turning the Hall into your space.
With its pale wooden floor, simple décor and flexible layout, the Hall can look remarkably different once the tables are laid, flowers arrive and your own ideas begin to take shape.
Need longer to decorate or set up? Additional time on Friday can be arranged.
Saturday: celebrate
This is your day.
Bring together family and friends for dinner, dancing, a wedding reception or whatever you have planned. Open the doors onto the terrace and playing field, bring in your own caterers and make use of the Hall, kitchen and meeting room throughout the day.
There’s on-site parking and a children’s play area, while the playing field gives everyone room to spread out when the weather is kind.
Sunday: take your time
Come back the following morning, gather everything together and clear the Hall before 12 noon.
No midnight scramble. No loading cars while everyone else is still dancing.
And if you need a little longer, additional clearing-up time can be arranged.

Thinking of using the playing field?
There is space for marquees and mobile catering, subject to availability. During the cricket season, weekend matches may affect where a marquee can be positioned, so please talk to us about your plans.
Make Thornham part of the weekend
If your guests are travelling to North Norfolk, the celebration doesn’t have to begin and end at the Hall.
There are places to stay and eat in and around Thornham, with the coast, beaches and walks close by, making it easy for friends and family to turn your celebration into a weekend away.
