Our popular Thursday Film Night returns on Thursday 19 February, and we’re delighted to invite you to another relaxed evening of great cinema, good company and a welcoming village atmosphere.
As ever, entry is free of charge, though donations on the night are very welcome and help us continue to run these much-loved events. The bar will be open, with a cash bar available throughout the evening.
A classic film…
Our licence means we can’t share the film title online, but posters at the hall will reveal all. What we can say is that February’s film is a true classic — widely regarded as one of the most loved films of all time.
Expect a powerful story about hope and friendship, set in an unlikely place behind high walls, where patience, quiet determination and small acts of kindness matter. It’s a film packed with memorable performances, unforgettable moments, and the sort of story that rewards repeat viewing.
If you already know the film, you’ll understand why it’s such a favourite. If you don’t, you’re in for a treat.
New for February: charcuterie platters
We’re excited to be launching a new initiative at this Film Night: veggie and non-veggie charcuterie platters, available to pre-order via our website.
Each platter costs £7.50 and is ideal for sharing (or keeping all to yourself). They’re a simple way to make your Film Night feel a little more special, and a great accompaniment to a drink from the bar.
Platters must be pre-ordered in advance via our website.
