New Sports Pavilion
Thornham Village Hall continues to raise funds not only for the upkeep of the Hall and Playing Field but also for our exciting New Sports Pavilion project. The new Pavilion replaces the much-loved but no longer viable wooden building and will provide modern, accessible facilities for sports teams, fitness classes, and community events.
Designed with input from local clubs and national bodies, it will offer proper changing rooms, disabled access, indoor activity space, and a welcoming hub for gatherings such as coffee mornings, socials, and parish meetings.
Thanks to generous grant support and extraordinary community fundraising, Phase One of the project is already complete. We are now focusing on Phase Two – fitting out the Pavilion – and continue to raise money through our live Crowdfunder appeal. Every donation not only helps us finish this vital facility but also unlocks match funding, multiplying its impact and bringing us closer to opening the Pavilion as a safe, welcoming space for all.
